Yeah, I would say so! There is an area between the two sets of short rows in which you work straight, so you could add in a couple of extra rows there for more room Smiley

Beastie, I've been wanting to knit that too! It looks gorgeous.

Aw thankyou everyone! I must admit, I started to get a bit skeptical about the buttons when I started putting them on, but I love the final outcome. I can tell I'll wear this a lot!

I started making this cardigan AGES ago, not really knowing where I was going with it. I used the pattern for Precious by Kim Hargreaves in her Dark House book, but didn't bother with the beads, as I didn't think they looked young enough for my style.

I was going to have a huge ribbon to tie it actually, but I decided that it wouldn't work with the proportions of the cardigan.

Due to the lack of beads, the hem curled, so I decided to weight it down with these really pretty aqua buttons that look perfect with the caramel yarn!

Very pleased with the finished garment. What do you think?

Hehe, they may look intricate, but they were really simple! The cable is really fun to do actually. I'd recommend the pattern, although the pattern suggested knitting them in the flat. I would recommend converting them to knitting in the round.

For the moss stitch version, you are creating two pieces which need to be sewn together. They sort of come out a P shape, which has been tipped on it's back! You then sew the two curved areas together, creating a seam and then sew the ends together, so that if you put your head in the curved area, you would have a big loop in front of you.

To wear it, you just twist that loop a couple of times, and then double it back and loop it over the back of your head. It should be quite snug.

It's a lot easier to understand when you're actually doing it!

These were made for my friend Beckys birthday. She wanted something subtle and nothing too out there, but obviously I wanted to exert some of my personality on itSo I decided to knit these. The colour is perfect for her, as she wears it a lot, and I missed out the buttons to make them a bit more subtle. Theyre still a little unusual though, which suits me fine! Cheesy
