1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / for challenges: on: November 21, 2006 01:17:11 PM
if at all possible, craftster should consider auctioning off winning entries of challenges and then donation the money to some worthwhile foundation.

7  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / paint slip-ons. two pairs. on: July 30, 2006 10:00:00 PM
i got a pair of ed hardy shoes before i joined craftster.  now i know that i could do things of that sort for much cheaper.  i made these dachshund shoes for myself. since me and my brother wear the same size shoes and he seemed to keep stealing my ed hardy's i decided to make him some for his birthday.

the shoes for my little brother dont have anything on the back, but i might put the guys name in japanese on the back if i can find it.

8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / collage pumps. lots of photos on: July 26, 2006 11:05:46 AM
i got these bronze pumps for christmas and as much as i loved them, i knew i wouldnt actually have a place to wear them.  so i decided to put a collage on them.  they turned out very well and now the only problem is that they are a half size too small.  so walking is a bit less comfortable, but definately worth it.  i used mod podge to stick everything to the shoe.  i havent done it yet, but im going spray it with a clear spray sealer so they can handle all weather types.

sorry if the photos are too big. :[
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / pink circle skirt on: July 22, 2006 01:46:39 PM
this is a circle skirt i finished last night.  i used lightweight pink fabric with muslin for the lining.  then i used black bias tape for the hem on the skirt and used a scallop stitch in pink for the trim on the lining.
