Here is the package I received from dinkime. I'm uploading this via mobile internet so I'm only going to post one picture since it tends to crash the page it I try to do more than one.

She sent polka dot socks, cactus pin cushion, jar of heart shaped buttons, a necklace and a pin, hand carved stamp with some green and pink ink, skull candy molds with meltable white chocolate, and some peacock feather ornaments (I think that's what they are!)

Thanks!!

Here is package number 2 from dinkime!

yay for more hoops!

I'm thrilled about this little lamp!  I was just complaining the other day that its too hard to knit in the dark.  The little lotus hoop is super cute.

I think we might put this silly panda in our babies' room Smiley

Thanks so much!

Sorry for the delay in posting my goodies!  I received two really great swap packages, from Jemimah and Grab a coffee

Jemimah sent me a very lovely apron, and some AMAZING chocolate.

The apron has already gotten quite a bit of use, and the chocolate is already long gone.  Thanks so much!

Grab a coffee sent me several mug cozies, some scrapbooking supplies (stack of paper not pictured), and some heart-shaped buttons!

We might have to get some bigger mugs to fit two of the cozies, but you can never have too many mugs! Smiley  I'm very excited about the heart-shaped buttons because they will make perfect little eyes for the owl sweater I'm knitting right now.  Thanks so much!

Here are some pictures of the stuff Dinkime sent me! (sorry it took so long)

The goods all wrapped up in paper bags and washi tape!

She sent some paper straws, a plastic scrapbook thingy, floral pencils, cupcake decorations, photo coasters, a couple of children's books, and a framed collage she made!

She also sent some really nice handmade blank cards.  I've already used a couple of them!

Thanks a ton!  Smiley

I received an awesome package from frosty772!

She claimed me for a japanese knot bag, and threw in a little kindle case (which has been jacked by my fella) that has this neat cthulu/dragonish? embroidery on it.

Thank you so much!! Smiley

I got a really amazing project from Whistley!  You'll have to forgive me because I forget which item is for what category on some of the stuff.  But it's all really great and I LOVE it!

A really cute project bag.  I love this thing!!!  I LOVE KITTIES!  "Something dotted", I think?

The white yarn is "something local" and the bottom skein is Manos del Uruguay silky merino! (something M, I presume).  The white yarn is made from start to finish locally (the person who made it did EVERYTHING down to shearing the sheep, if I remember correctly)...I'm thinking about hand-painting it. Smiley  The silky merino is this really pretty mix of pinks, purples, and browns.

The funny thing about this item is that I made her the SAME EXACT THING, though I think her version looks way better than mine.  I saw this item on her pinterest and added it to my own.  Love this!!!

"Something funny" - an octopus with a mustache! Cheesy  and "Something green" - a crocheted cactus that I had on my pinterest!!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

"Something recycled" - decorated altoid tin, "Something hard" - stitch markers (I think that's the right category), and the pendant was "sender's choice"

Thanks again for the really great package!  I love EVERYTHING Smiley

10  Malabrigo drop-stitch cowl in Knitting: Completed Projects by gingerpeachy on: October 11, 2013 01:05:06 PM
I've been on FIRE lately!  I'm on a yarn diet, which means no more new pretties until I use up some of the yarn I already have...so that means it is time to get to work!

Malabrigo Rasta is probably one of my all time favorite yarns.  Here is another drop-stitch cowl in the colorway "piedras."

There is no solid pattern here.  Ever since I learned how to do the drop-stitch technique on a scarf, I've been experimenting with it in other garments.  I had intended for this one to not be so long, but I think it looks nice regardless.
