91  Re: Sweat Shoppe swap-(**discuss round 5: bottom of pg 46) in New Swap Theme Ideas by Muria on: October 18, 2006 08:36:02 AM
Ok, here's a picture of the headbands, a green one in chenille, and a variegated blue cotton that's only half done:

A close up of the half done crocheted headband (to see the stitches better):

A picture of the beaded rose I made a few years ago (I made some at Christmas last year, but forgot to take pictures).

And a (blurry) close up:

So if people are interested, those would be two things I can make.

92  Re: Fall/Harvest Sweat shoppe swap gallery of the Fall bounty! in The Swap Gallery by Muria on: October 18, 2006 08:24:41 AM
Well, I finally got around to getting photos of my stuff this morning (except for sneeg's t-shirt, which is in the wash, and java's spider earrings, which I'm going to have to interrogate DD to discover their whereabouts when she gets home from school).  Anyway:
Group shot (devilninny's bracelet and charms, taerowyn's gorgeous pendant, mub's tissue holder (green!), glittergirl94's hat in the corner and cyndiq's Halloween quilt blocks)

Cute baby shot in glittergirl94's hat:

Action shot of felted bead kit and pumpkin (that somehow sneaked out of the group shot. The pumpkin is grabbed momentarily after this shot was taken):

The awesome quilt blocks cyndiq made for our personal swap:

And an action shot of devilninny's bracelet (my crimps never look this nice, any tips?):

Thanks so much, everyone!  I'll try to get shots of the two MIA items after school.  Incidentally, is there an easy way to shrink pictures? This is only my second time, and when I went back to look, my baby's gigantic!  Smiley

Ok, I'm rather new to the whole photo thing (as in this is my first ever posted image).

Anyway, here's what the amulet bags look like now. There are two orange bags with black spider/spiderweb, two black bags with dancing skeletons, two one leaf print bag, two one pumpkin print bag, two bags with cats in jack o lanterns and a dark red/burgandy bag with black maple leaves.

I'm still working on getting all the straps and snaps attached, and  then I'll be putting beaded fringe along the bottom. If you prefer NOT to get beaded fringe, let me know (I'd hate to put on beaded fringe and have someone cut it off because they just aren't into it).
