...just kidding, even stacked on top of each other they wouldn't pass for a grown-up.

After deciding that they wanted to be the scarecrow, lion and Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.  So I bought patterns and started on the Dorothy dress.  Then of course they changed their minds.  And decided they wanted to be a Praying Mantis (ds1) Baby Kitty (ds2) and that dd should be a dinosaur because she's always knocking their careful constructed buildings/cities/train layouts over.

Ok, long time lurker, first time poster over here

The boys' shorts are opposite colors and then because all pants need "hockets" (pockets) there is an opposite color patch pocket on the leg. DD's is an aline w/some appliqué. Hers is a bit big and dh had to do the buttonholes because I suck but I think total kitsch overkill was achieved!

They're looking at one of the 4(!) ice cream trucks that were driving around and wondering why the truck was playing such loud music! Ha! I have taught my children well. Anguschick1 - 1 Ice Cream Man 0
