I seem to be right on track with 9 red hexagons.  I am doing two different shades of red.  I have been working on darker ones so far.  So heres a progress pic not as adventurous and colourful as some of yours. But it what my beautiful daughter wanted.



Hmm the colours are a bit off.  The Hexagons are actually darker then the big ball of yarn

My second quilt this summer. It started off as a swap quilt from another now defunct web group. it is all cotton including the backing and is machine quilted.   It is about the size for a double bed.

Somebody gave me this fabric and it might be even a little to country even for me.   

This is my first completed quilt in about 3 years.   

It is cotton on the front with flannel on the back and warm and natural batting. 

It is machine stippled.

I decorated these frames for my daughters skating pictures.   I haven't shown them to her but I hope she will really like them.



They are just unfinished wood frames from Michaels painted and embellished!

I am horrible with names so if somebody has a suggestion I am open to it

my poppet princess got a new dress so now  she is ready for the ball.  If  only she could find her shoes.

Here is my new little girl.  She is staring out the window hoping the snow will melt so she can play in the grass.


Her shirt is borrowed from one of my daughters Groovy girls.  But the skirt is made by me and the bag is made by my dd.

I beleive her name to be Bergundy but my dd thinks that she is truely a secret princess and has a way more sophisticated name.

I am going to put up a couple of pictures of the things I sent to HP Nerd.  Her book was Curious George Visits the Chocolate Factory.

hp_nerd crafted for the Go Dog Go Book I sent her.  I got 3 felt dogs.   One of which got repossed by my daughter.  4 cards, a tin, 2 nice pieces of fabric and 2 rolls of ribbon some fancy soap and a sucker.
