How does the Fabric Medium hold up? How is the hand of the painted image when you're done. I have some and haven't played with it yet, but I've always wondered if using Fabric Paint was just better or if they were the same. Thanks!! Great work!

I am in such a bird phase and love the little bird on yours - that and Oriental (especially Japanese) design is some of my fave - makes this a fantastic purse.

i've thought about making them for other people, especially in larger sizes, because sometimes it's hard to find cute stuff for sizes 16/18+, but our society is so accustomed to paying sweatshop prices, i'm not sure it'd be work my effort. we'll see though, maybe one day!

As a plus size gal, I have to say it's hard to find cute styles - so I definitely think there'd be an interest - Especially since most tutes are for non-plus-size people and you have to adapt process. (And really you'd have a to find a minimum of a XXL to reconstruct anything!)

BohemianSheila, i created a pattern for them, so the first few attempts at creating it were pretty much winging it! With the yokes, i had to try a few times until i got the right gathering down, etc. Zippers can be tricky on knits - baste it first!
