My grandma has been a total angel during my wedding. buying and altering my wedding gown, picking out and sewing my bridesmaid dresses. Paying for food and most of the whole shebang. She has also lent me money when I was in a bind in the past, and I wanna do something to thank her for always being there in my life for me. She likes:
-sewing -crime dramas (like cold case, and bones) - the PAX TV show, Doc. - books - she does the video dept of my church (send out tapes of services and transcripts them) - cooking - gardening
A very lovely older lady in my church gave me a bunch of her mothers' old craft things. I got a couple dozen vintage patters (including one for SMOCKING!), a monks cloth afghan kit, tons of yarn, knitting and crochet patterns, kinitting and crochet needles (including cable knitting needles!), 10 pillowcases with cross-stitch patterns on them, aprons, scarves, cross stitch supplies, etc. I am in crafting heaven!
it never occured to me that I would have to give details to what I made. Anyways, since there has been some debate, let me clear it up:
1. those were pin up related crafts. The hawaiian girl tote, the note cards, and the pillow were all of pin up girls (betty boop is a cartoon pin up, hula girl looked like a pin up to me) 2. The accesories were for Beckster to dress up like a pin up.Ribbon, fuzzy cuffs, necklaces, purse, scarf, stuff to make a sexy pin up out of her!
I hope that clears it up. I really loved making everything!
I am getting married in 6 weeks and I wanted to get him some sexy novelty gifts for our weddingnight to "lighten the mood" (it's my first time).....I was thinking a novelty love coupon book and some novelty condoms I found at the "adult" store. But what else can I put in there? What could I make for him? I can sew and crochet wekk, and I do cross stitch and woodburning. Any Ideas?
