As much as I loved shrink plastic before, discovering that I could melt it slightly to make the roughened backside turn clear sent me over the edge in helpless adulation.

Obviously the next step in my twitterpated haze was to add glitter and animal print. Classy!





No glitter in the necklace, but it's still pink so it's okay.


In case you couldn't get enough pink-cheetah-africa in one day. I mean who can, really?

I got some really cool origami paper a while back and this is the first time I've used it. I love the glittery gold :3

I can't believe that box got so smashed up. I watched the guy stamp FRAGILE on it. I thought I packed it well enough, but if I ship anything in the future I'll be a lot more careful. ANGER

But at least some pieces made it there okay. (':

[Where the Wild Things Are]

I'm moving into my first apartment in August and have been trying to think of things to make it my own. I got these bowls from Bed Bath and Beyond for a dollar a piece and had at them with my ceramic pen. I drew the pictures on with a pencil first, which just rubbed off afterwards. I love how they turned out!

Here is the picture I won first place with, in the photography category.

The colours suck in the pic, it's turquoise and navy. Can you all notice the flaw, or do I write it off as part of it being "original" and "unique"?

It's hardly noticable, and it is kind of cool that it seems like a spider swinging on a thread. :3

There are some mistakes in my tattoo (my avatar), though when I show someone else they're like "what are you talking about?" I think it's because it's on my body and so I see it and scrutinize it all the time. It doesn't bother me much. I still love it love it love it, and it reminds me that "There is no beauty without some strangeness in the proportion."

I wanted to post a picture of my tattoo now that it's completely healed and not all red and raw. :'D

I love the placement. It flows really well with my anatomy. I guess it's about...6 months old now. Still totally diggin it, never regretted it once!
