1  Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by meimei on: September 11, 2006 08:38:30 AM
I've got my swap package from WhisperedEternity, well, actually it was two packages not just one!
Here's all the swappy goodness:

Really cute rosette pins with Willow, Giles, Dawn and Xander on them. My favourite characters yes siree. They look like they took ages to make..

And some cute charm type tags with Willow, Xander, Dawn and Buffy (sorry for bad photography skills!)

Then a cute little knitted pouch with another rosette on it. I shall be using this for something special.

I got a Vampyr book too. It was filled with the other goodies when I got it. It used to be a video case, what a smart idea! I would never have thought of that. It's now living with my Buffy DVD collection in my room.

Officially now the best piece of jewellery I own. With the nicest pinky pearlescent beads too. On my wrist right this moment.

And finally my favourite, the Buffy Calendar. It's SHINY and purple, and has the coolest cartoons of all the characters on it, with the moon logo on the actual calendar bit.

And a little close up, just so you can see the cute characters even better. This actually made me *squee*
Angel, Giles, Buffy, Dawn, Willow and Xander. Where did you find these WhisperedEternity? They're fab!

WhisperedEternity, you rock!

Well, I got a PM off Whsipered Eternity about my package, and she's working tonight and going to london tomorrow so I guess she wont have time to post pics, so here are some I took of what I sent to her:

Everything together

Amy the rat felt toy thing

Willow and Tara beading mat

Amy the rat keyring, bracelets and some cross shaped beads (on the actual beading mat side of the um, beading mat)

Close up of the keyring-y clip rat thing (made of beads)

And finally the piece de la resistance, the drusilla inspired corset top (modelled by me haha)

Made of this gorgeous spiderweb net

Comments? Opinions? WhisperedEternity says she likes it all so yay!
ANd I'd love for her to post her own pictures of the things too, maybe an action shot in the top lol!

3  Anyone for Johnny Depp? (4 pics) *edit* with link to tute in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by meimei on: August 18, 2006 08:40:42 AM
Eep, this is my first time posting something I've made...
So, It's my friend's birthday today, and she is obsessed with Johnny Depp. Even more so than your average raving Johnny fan  Tongue I saw a tutorial for a cheats way to screen print http://community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/3674467.html?thread=32232291 I found these new t-shirts in a charity shop and decided to make her some Johnny t-shirts. So here they are:

There's a Captain Jack Sparrow one, an Edward Scissorhands one and a Willy Wonka one.

Close ups:
Captain Jack

Edward Scissorhands

Willy Wonka

So, what do you think?

P.S Thanks to SewingLori for finding the link for me again :p

*EDIT* Just to say I used copydex glue when I did this. It works really well and is cheap too. Go buy!

You could use two straps that are like a K shape and attach them at the back and front under the waistband. Over lap and ruche them a bit or something..
