1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ruffled Hobo on: April 20, 2013 09:29:59 AM
Thank you all Smiley the fabric on the outside was some decorator fabric I found in the clearance bin. It has a silk duipioni look to it, it's really pretty! And the inside is a cotton fabric from hobby lobby that I've had for years.

Thanks y'all!! The inside isn't anything special. I thought about putting in pockets but my friend never uses purses with pockets so I just omitted them. Besides I was in a hurry to finish Wink

Hey everyone! I haven't posted on here in maybe 5 years ? Well, tomorrow is my friend's birthday and I noticed she still uses purses I made her 7 years ago, so I decided to make her a new one. This is the first purse/bag I've made in probably 5-6 years Smiley I used this tutorial: http://www.theboytrifecta.com/2010/10/grandview-bag-formerly-known-as-anthro.html?m=1

Thanks for looking Smiley

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: A shalwar kameez for my lil Indian baby on: September 24, 2008 09:20:30 AM
Thanks ladies. Smiley  It's just the fabric from the brocade section of the fabric store but it's the Indian style and not the Chinese.  I used to make lehenga choli (skirt and top) outfits for my older DD with the fabric all the time.  This was leftover scraps from that.  I swear my lil one loved wearing this outfit, she was so happy and content while in it.  I will have to make her more Smiley

I don;t understand what's the word you wrote about my dog... sorry, don;t know English that well :-)

love the dress!!!  I better not let my 6 yr old see it or she'll start begging me for one too!

also, I couldn't help but giggle at you not understanding what the poster said about your dog.  She was asking if your dog is a dachshund which is a type of dog.. a dog breed.  Grin
