This is the first time I've ever written out instructions, but the seven test knitters and proof readers say it is a good pattern, so I'll trust them.

I found the recipe for the Swabs on-line. So cute! But I added the packaging idea. It reads: Swabs...Now with more ear wax!

The 'Rodent Surprise' cookies were my idea. Dip one side of the cookie (Oreos here) in white chocolate and sprinkle on chocolate sprinkles to look like mouse droppings.

These looked better on the platter.

Dip the pretzels in white chocolate or almond bark.

Arrange 5 (and a half for the thumb) and pipe more white chocolate in the center. (four fingers look too crowded...so it's a three-fingered skeleton.)

I think this is my own idea. At least I didn't see these in my search for Halloween treats on-line anywhere.

At Thanksgiving, you can change it to milk or dark chocolate for the body, legs and feet (break the pretzels 2/3 of the way down and position for feet) and tint some white chocolate in different colors for the feathers if you want to create turkeys.

Awww, casmir!  Love Snoopy...and the Frankenstein is a scream!  Cute heart...just in time for Valentine's Day.

Here are three of my diagonal garter ridge cloths made for a swap.

SerialCrafter and I arranged a personal swap.

I knit the socks with Kraemer superwash wool that I had hand-dyed. 



These slippers were knit with recycled yarn from an Abercrombie and Fitch sweater coat.



She made me this corset in return!  I asked for a nice, lightweight fabric because it's hot in Texas, you know.  The eyelet is perfect!  It fits me so nicely...the model shown here is smaller around than I am, so I had to use a clothespin to keep it on the stand, but there was NO WAY I was going to model it for the photo shoot!  LOL

Yippee!  This one is just the first one...so remember...the learning curve and all.  Made of linen with a flannel lining.  Yes...those are little squirrels on the lining!  I may try to reduce the pattern so it doesn't gather in the back.  That's just what the pattern said to do.

Sure!  I'll join if you post the link here.  I made another cloth two days ago. Here's the pattern. 

Also, I crocheted a removable strap.  Rough pattern details on my Ravelry page, but you could always just make a foundation chain and make a strap out of that.

I'm so terrible at judging what in the heck gaurd hairs are!  I mean...if I pulled out everything that looked close to the size of a human hair, there would be less than half of this raw alpaca fiber left.

Can you judge by looking at these photos if I have waaaay under picked it or not?

I handspun, dyed and skeined it, and added tiny tags.   I know I have 'sport' weight on the tags, but I think they plumped up after drying into more of a bulky weight for a doll.  They would be more of a sport weight for a Barbie doll.

I will spin the yarn more finely next time.

I opened the two little vintage Weave-It looms in the mail yesterday evening and an hour later, I had my first woven square!!!!

I used some of my handspun yarn, which lends itself very well to the 'hominess' of the weaving!  I'm so delighted!!!  Just one more fiber craft added to my list!  A GREAT site to learn about these looms is: eLoomanation.com
