51  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Classic Pin-Up Mirror on: December 12, 2006 06:46:32 PM
Hi everybody. I've had nothing better to do with my time after work so I have been trying a bunch of new things. The second coat of polyurethane just finished drying on this one so I thought I'd share it. I think I am going to make a bunch of these. They were fun to make and I have a ton of pictures left over! Hope everyone likes it.  Grin

52  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Mom's New Hand Painted Wall Plaques on: December 10, 2006 05:46:02 PM
So as I have posted before, I am forcing mom to be a bit more serious when it comes to crafting. I think she has a lot of talent, but she always doubts herself. Here are 3 different plaques that she has painted. The snowman that hangs alone has 3d "snow" on him for extra winter affect. Let me know what ya think!!

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

55  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / I dabbled into something new: Dyed Domino Pendant on: December 07, 2006 07:16:28 PM
So, I normally make dominos with different images, but I went on a MisterArt shopping spree and bought a lot of supplies for new projects.   I have been messing around with ink and wire and whatnot, and I came up with this. I drilled the holes on the side so I could accent with just a little bit of wire. Let me know what you think!!

56  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Decoupaged Table- Attempt 2. This one is WAY better! on: December 05, 2006 04:50:48 PM
So thanks to everyone who looked at my first table. This time I actually worked hard on it and I have absolutely NO air bubbles or wrinkles! I even put a very thin coat of mod podge with sparkles on top for an extra little shine. This has been topped with 3 coats of polyurethane as well. Hope you all like it! Comments are always appreciated **hint hint**  Wink

57  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Mom's new delicious smelling crafts and more! on: December 03, 2006 04:53:45 PM
So, my mom has finally started to take her crafting a bit more serious these days. She's been trying tons of new things and I just picked a few of them to share with everyone. Just so you know what you're looking at:
1. Vanilla and Cinnamon scented Sheepies(as she calls them)
2. Vanilla and Cinnamon scented Stars with buttons
3. My favorite....the Pumpkinman
4. His winter buddy...the Snowman
5. And a super cute snowman head ornament.

Any comments are always appreciated. She gets excited! Haha  Smiley

58  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / My Disney Decoupaged Side Table inspired by Lethaldread! on: December 03, 2006 03:29:20 PM
So, Lethaldread and his wife had an awesome idea decoupaging a tv tray. I ordered some pin-up stuff but unfortunately it isn't here yet....so I went to Barnes and Noble and bought a cutesy Disney 365 day calender. I rushed this project so I have some air bubbles/wrinkles, but now I know for next time that I should use my little squeegee to smooth it out and take my time on that one. Next I am going to make  a Fender guitar table. Anyway, I will shutup now and show you. Hope it isn't as bad as I think!!  Smiley

59  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Melted Bead Madness!!! on: November 29, 2006 07:16:27 PM
So after I scoped out some other awesome beaded projects, I decided to try my own. I made these 2 cutting boards/trays/candle dishes/whatever not too long ago. They were time consuming and stunk my whole house up, but I think they turned out awesome in the end!

60  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Ferocious Beast Shaving Cream Cards on: November 29, 2006 07:12:20 PM
So I was very inspired by a post I saw on here awhile back and I thought shaving cream cards were awesome. That is about all so I will just shutup and show you some pics!
