wow! they're gorgeous!  what did you use to paint on your images?  i'm with penny_nickel21, i'd prolly pay around 35-40 for one of those...good luck at your show!

Thanks for the kind words! I used acrylic paint to do all of these. I drew them on with a regular pencil and painted away! Unfortunately, the yellow is the WORST to try to paint with.  Smiley

Hi everyone! I just finished this bag last night and I wanted to share it with you all.

I am doing my first major show in October and I was hoping some of you would have input as to how much I should charge for this and the others. The second photo is the other bags I posted a week or two ago. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!  Grin Grin Grin

1055  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Felt Name Book - Photo Heavy on: August 04, 2006 06:48:35 PM
This is absolutely one of the best projects I have ever seen! I can't believe the time and effort you put into this book and as soon as your daughter is old enough to realize the love you put into it, I think she will hug you for at least 3 days! My boyfriend thinks it is incredible too and he said if I decided to make one, he'd draw any little animal I want. Haha. I am definately going to attempt one of these in the near future.

Amazing job and if you ever do anything else like this, and I think I speak for everyone when I say this, we'd all LOVE to see it!!  Grin Grin Grin
1056  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Glass Marble Magnets on: August 03, 2006 05:36:13 PM
Hi everyone. I don't know if the people in the New York area have found the marbles that they were looking for, but I live in Hoboken and if you can get yourself to an AC Moore, they are $2.97 for 3lbs! Great deal in my book. They have the smaller size and then some crazy jumbo sized ones. Also, they have about 25 different colors if you want something other than clear. Time to go back and make some more. I've even recruited my boyfriend. haha  Grin

WOW! That looks absolutely incredible. My friend owns a haunted house in Seaside Heights, NJ, and I'm sure he'd hire your son as an actor! Great job. You should totally be tooting your horn.  Grin

I think this bag is awesome! I love white myself so I must say you did a great job. I'd buy it if you sold it!!  Smiley
1059  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Felt and Fleece Dolls on: July 28, 2006 01:57:28 PM
So cute! I love the colors! The toes are so cute!

I've always been afraid to try and just put together a monster....I really envy the people that can do it!  Wink

Thanks so much! Don't be afraid to try it. I actually started making these when I was bored at my mother's house one day. I freehanded right onto the fabric and I've never made a pattern. Everyone says I should, but it's kind of fun knowing no 2 dolls will ever be exactly the same. I suggest trying it on fabric that's cheaper than fleece first. If you ever do, I'd love to see it!!  Grin
