2  UNITED STATES / Kentucky / in need of fancies on: August 20, 2007 01:02:33 PM
hey...i am going to be the maid of honor in my best friends' wedding in march 2008.  she is letting us choose our own dresses, provided that they are black in color, and not over-the-top sexified.   i have an idea for a dress, and of course, cannot find it anywhere.  any of you ladies in the nky/cincy area feel up to the challenge?  i will pay you for your talents.  i'm not talkin' taffeta....very chic and simple with a vintage feel.  let me know!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Making a tube top *first project*! I need a brilliant mind. on: July 09, 2007 03:02:57 PM
you could buy some ribbing (its cheap, and its at the fabric store, usually comes on a bolt already in a tube shape, and in many colors) and attatch it to the top (and the bottom, seeing as how banded shirts are very in, and then it would be sorta blousy).  you could also get some elastic and sew it inside the ribbing for extra security.  hope that helps!
