really cool i especially love the shark, this might be a stupid question but how do you get the nice rounded edges with resin? i've never worked with it before but i'd like to, thanks
thank you for_the_pretty_girl s! the rounded edges that you see on the top of the pendants are from the mold that I used. When I pop them out that's how they already look. Smiley On the bottom side of the pendant I sand them before adding a bail or eye screw.

I've been working on some new creations that I wanted to share.

I just realized how many of my resin creations are fish related...this was never really intentional!

Platinum record

I added a pink background and some cabachons to the outside of this locket and then sealed it all with a layer of resin. I can decide if I love it or not.

I absolutely love this necklace! I think the rhinestones were a good touch.

and this fun little whipped cream ring I created.

Thanks for looking! Smiley
29  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Resin gauged jewelry? on: August 27, 2008 05:09:21 PM
I've never made resin plugs, but I bought a pair from a girl on etsy, she has a thread on here some where w/ all her resin plugs....they are awesome. I've never had a problem with them and they are comfortable. My ears have been stretched for about 5 yrs to a 2ga. I wouldn't use resin plugs in newly stretched ears though.

u can get silver bails and glue them on the back of your resin pieces with E6000 glue. I use bails when I make a lighter piece that and eye screw would show through. u can find bails all over etsy and ebay.
