42  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 8! closes March 14th in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by LuxieLou on: March 10, 2007 10:57:44 AM
Ok...I'm back from the brink of death and got a bunch of crafting done! So here are my offerings - I'm in twice.

First are these polymer clay covered votives.

I have to make 1 more, any suggestions on color?? I could do a lilac, fushia, emerald green, light blue. I'll have recipents rate the color they want & I'll do my best to make you happy!

And a set of 4 polymer clay heart magnets that look like this. They still need to be glazed and I need to attach the magnets to them.

I have to make some more still, there will be a little more color in there but so far everyone will get a blue and green plus 2 other colors.

I hope you girls like them! I'm definately down for personal swaps this round too if people are interested Smiley

Beautiful handpainted fabric from Artsiefartsie

Mr. Square from Bobolink - I love pink and green together right now too, it's perfect!

And my super cute turtles from Amodernmantra!

I received such awesome goodies in this swap!

44  Heart Magnets in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by LuxieLou on: February 15, 2007 03:21:52 PM
I haven't posted anything on this board in awhile so I thought I'd share these. I made these magnets for a custom order recently. The pink and silver is my favorite.

So I mentioned before about doing the polymer clay covered votives.
Here's what they look like

They will look like that pic and I will do green, blue, purple and I'm not sure what other colors but I'm going to use this shape votive for the swap.

I'm still undecided on the what else I will offer. Maybe heart magnets...
They look like this and I would do a set of 4 per person.

What do you think?

Here's the awesome robot and spaceship from IamSusie. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with them yet, but I love them.

Cute hand drawn love notes from delayes_echo.

And this cute wristlet from Gatorwrangler. I love the fabric!

Thanks everyone!

Okay, I didnt make these exact ones...mine would be similar though although probably also with some beads (for shine and sparkle!) but this would give you an idea...

And to the best of my ability to see clearly, this bouquet has about ten stems, which is what Id be offering...

I saw something like this in a store once, so coool I would love this!

48  Skully girly hobo in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by LuxieLou on: February 09, 2007 09:07:44 AM
I love skulls and found this cute fabric had had to make a bag out of it for myself.

This is the first hobo style bag I've made. I made the dimensions and just kind of figured out this bag out as I went. When it got to the handles I was unsure of what to do and after searching around craftster I found the tutorial by tinafish and incorporated my rings and handle the way she did.

there is on inside pocket - it's hard to see the opening just blends in with the dark fabric.
I'm really happy with how the bag came out!

what do you think? feedback always welcome!

Ok here's all the goodies I have received so far! I love this swap Smiley

I got this awesome black button bracelet and cute stickers from retro-redux. Sorry it took me some time to post!

It was hard to take pics of the black and they really don't do it justice.

Really cute crochet sock monkey from penguino. I think I'm gonna add this to a purse for myself.

And from Modus Operandi I received my daisy light bulb vase - I'm going to hang it on the window in my craft room.

and cute robot mirror.

Thanks so much everyone I've received from so far! I've gotten awesome things!
