1  Re: Pen Pal Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by tarteaucitron on: May 23, 2012 10:25:06 PM
Some lovely goodies so far  Grin That button frame is really sweet and I don't think i have ever seen that many cute ladybug things in the same place.

I received my package from Mountains and Clouds yesterday woot! We decided to make small things that would fit in a little box and i am extremely impressed with M&C's creativity in keeping to the tiny scale.

Here comes the pic spammage

Firstly some nifty tourist style goodies (I love treasure map style picture on the notepad so much i don't think i could bear to use it!)

Gelly pens, ink and hand designed skull stickers and a hand carved skully stamp - i actually did a little happy dance when i pulled the skull stamp out (i am slightly skull obsessed Roll Eyes)

..but wait inside a little box were more carved stamps and in the background you can see little ATC sized hand bound notebooks! The little Tiki dude is so sweet.

I have been meaning to start a hoopla wall and here is my very first hoop - a mini grim reaper.

Just when you thought the tinyness couldn't get any more awesome - M&C made me itty bitty origami cranes, a tiny painting (just over 1cm across) and book about Hawaii. This book would have to be my absolute fave item from the package (yep even more than the skully things) each page has a little factoid about Hawaii accompanied by a picture and it is only 1" tall!

Everything together. In the background you can see a couple of the gorgeous photos and postcard that M&C included with her package.

Thankyou so much S. I love everything! You absolutely nailed my tastes and i can only hope that my package for you is a fraction as amazing as this  Smiley

2  Tank top tote bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by tarteaucitron on: March 11, 2012 03:58:37 AM
A while ago i bought a cute but huge babydoll style tank top from the charity shop around the corner with the intent to refashion it to fit me. After leaving it hanging on my craft room door for about a month I decided this afternoon that perhaps it was destined to be a bag instead. I started cutting and sewing without really planning anything specific and came up with this. It took me a couple of hours but would have been much quicker/easier if i hadn't insisted on lining it and adding a top panel. I'm pretty pleased with the result Cheesy

and this one shows the size a little better - it fits magazines woot!

3  Re: Journal Cover Swap--GALLERY!--Send Out Nov. 7 in The Swap Gallery by tarteaucitron on: November 28, 2011 03:56:51 PM

That kitty painting is so adorable! I love the swirly blues Smiley

Here are the pics of my awesome package from Bunnie Boo - i finally got technology to cooperate with me after being away all weekend.

The whole package: Journal cover, funky fabric, bat pincushion/needle holder (the coolest idea ever!), a little monster keyring, a puffin pin, choccies and a little purse which i later discovered had a badge, magnet and some cute stickers in it.

The journal cover itself (and sneaky keyring jumping in the pic whoops) - i am in awe of bunnie boo's beautiful neat stitches. I have been a bit owl obsessed lately so this is absolutely perfect!

And finally a better look at Bat and the keyring i have been affectionately referring to as Mr Pinky

Thankyou so much Bunnie Boo everything is wonderful  Grin

I feel so spoiled! Look at all these wonderful goodies

There is my 3 ring binder BOS, Vampyre Tarot cards, incense, lapis lazuli, rose quartz and amethyst crystals, some yummy snacks that we don't have here in Aus and an awesome book of celtic crafts (seriously the best surprise ever!)
