66  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Bob Marley on: January 23, 2007 10:55:15 AM
Hi everyone

First; You are really an inspiration. I just HAD to try stenciling after seeing all your cool projects (as if i needed a new project  Cheesy)

Anyways; I made my first stencil T-Shirt today. Yay!
I made my son a shirt with a pic of his dad that I had made into a stencil in Photo Shop. I used the freezerpaper method and it turned out really cool.

I am now hooked! And I want to make my nephew a Bob Marley shirt. He is 3 and whenever a Bob Marley tune comes on the radio he always says "That´s Bob Marley" and "Bob Marley is in heaven with my grandma"
But i don´t seem to be able to find a good stencil. Anyone know a good place to look?

As soon as I reach 10 post I will be able to post pics to share with you  Smiley

Thanks for your reply DianeB.
Yes. I´m sure it is epoxy resin (Double checked the label Wink).
I have read the whole thread, and your website, but i really can´t figure out what is causing it.

I guess I will have to go into how to correct it. I think I may contact the manufacturer, to see if they can help.

Thanks again Smiley

I love this thread!! Thanks  Smiley

I just started working with Resin. I use a 2 component Epoxy resin. I use it for making jewelry, by pouring into bezel-cup etc an adding pictures, object etc.
But I have a problem. The resin is never totally smooth on the surface. There is always som unevenness (I dont know how to describe it really) that makes it imperfect.
I always cover while curing, so I guess its not dust. The unevenness does not cover the whole surface, but just parts of it.

Any ideas on how to fix this??
