1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Fashion show pin up style! loads of pics! EDITED now with more pics! on: June 04, 2007 07:07:24 PM
So in my city there is this party every month, they bring dj's, booze and a ton of people show up.... well this month it was a party/fashion show so me and my friends entered it and this is what we came up with!

It was a combination of 50's pin up girls and nautical theme

The pictures are kind of bad quality but I will try and get better pictures of all the designs, since these aren't all of the designs! And by the way the hairdo's are much better than these pic's make them look!!

Comments and or critiques would be awesome!!!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Just Dresses!!! on: April 20, 2007 07:36:45 PM
Hi there, I've been get around posting pics of these dresses I've made but the lack of a good camera has forced me to take pics with my camera phone.  And since I really can't take pics of me with my camera phone and show off the dress I waited til I got my dress form!  So here they are....

I originally made this a sweetheart top dress but it was WAYYY too big for me so I just turned it into a tube top looking thing

It has no zipper so I shirred the back (which took the longest) and it fits awesomely

This dress is super see through but I was just trying out the pattern, I really like it

Here's me wearing the dress so you know I'm not making up stories about sucking at taking pics of myself with my camera phone

this dress I sooo cheated because I just bought the already shirred material at wal mart...it was way too easy to make, NOTE:  I shirred my own dress on the first pic, I didn't cheat!

And if anybody's wondering who that handsome guy in the back is?  It's Greg Graffin from BR
3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / First Stenciled project: Twiggy bag! on: November 21, 2006 01:24:49 PM
Hi, this is my first attempt at making a stencil for my bags...I made everything except for cutting out the stencil which my boyfriend did for me because he's good at it!!  So it's a stencil of Twiggy the famous model...Anyway I would love to hear what you guys think....I'm trying to sell these bags, but I've had little response from people in my city, I think they're just cheap-o's here and don't want to spare 10 bucks for a cute bag like this!

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A couple of sweet bags! on: October 25, 2006 08:59:36 AM
I've been working my butt off making these bags that I'm going to try and sell at this crafts fair that my church is sponsoring.  I hope I at least sell some!  Well I would appreciate knowing what you guys think of them!
