1  Lucky Neko ATC in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by fsuangelita on: March 20, 2007 09:58:10 AM
This card was for the One Tiny Thing 11 swap... so it now resides with susanab (whom I greatly thank for the awesome pictures, because I can't for the life of me remember to take any before I send!!!).  It's called "Lucky You!" and has a lucky Japanese kitty on it.

and the fun dangly-thing is a cat-tag.  It's removable, because I love multipurpose things. Smiley

any comments/criticism appreciated... I think my lettering came out all wonky, but susanab says she loved it, so...  Cheesy

2  Geisha ATCs in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by fsuangelita on: January 03, 2007 01:48:33 PM
Okay, so these were my first ATCs (and now I'm hooked, by the way).
They were for the Geisha ATC swap.

this one is drawn on transparency plastic and hinged onto the background.

this one is a printed image with lots of cutouts.

this one is almost entirely cut out (other than her hair) and reassembled onto the background.

Oh, and thanks to qazicat, bhean, and kaos for their kind words of encouragement, and for taking the beautiful pictures for me, because like a newbie I forgot. Smiley

your bracelets inspired me!!  although mine wasn't nearly as good as yours, i'm learning and i think my next one will come out even better than this one.   Grin

this was a swap item i sent off for the One Tiny Thing 9 swap. (pardon the bad photography...)

yay!  Albarinos received her bracelet from me!  i've been dying to post pictures of it.  Cheesy  i'll go ahead and post, and if she's got better ones, then she can post them (my photo skills are simply crap-tastic!)  Wink

...hope she liked it!  it may not be much, but it's the one that's turned out THE BEST for me, by far! Smiley

6  Re: Mermaid Outta Water in Halloween Costumes by fsuangelita on: October 09, 2006 01:45:11 PM
i was actually a mermaid two years ago... i made my "tail" out of about 2-3 yards of a fabric that had shiny squares of metallic blue plastic stuck to it (looked like scales!).  the skirt was long with a train, and a slit up one side.  the train was the bottom of my tail, and the slit let me walk.

sorry, only pic i have of it... and although my bathing suit top won't be appropriate for your school dance, i'm sure you could do something similar to a "clubbing" top that would look cute in a matching fabric... a tank top with a low scooping cowl neckline, maybe? (i think that's what you'd call it...)
