61  Re: Japanese Street Fashion Gallery in The Swap Gallery by librarylolita on: June 29, 2007 03:57:40 PM
Hey.  Sexylilsushiroll is having camera issues so I volunteered to post pictures of the stuff I've sent her for the swap.  She said she was into cosplay lolita, liked kitties and strawberries, and bright colors like pink.  Here's what I came up with:

A strawberry headband:

A strawberry ring:

And a hat:

Hey, guys.  I got my loot from sexylilsushiroll today!  Here it is:

Mr. Koala is modeling a matching face mask and mini top hat.  They came packed in the matching swatches of plaid you see in the background.

A plush turtle purse lined with black fabric with a tiny pocket on the inside that's perfect for my cellie.

sexylilsushiroll is an awesome swap partner.  Thanks!!

64  "From the ashes..." in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by librarylolita on: June 26, 2007 04:43:29 AM
This one is called "Poptart Miracle"...  It's medium grain canvas, acrylic paint, Sharpies, some glow in the dark puffy paint, and Rochelle beads for the sprinkles.

65  Vogue 8175 in Sewing Pattern Reviews by librarylolita on: June 10, 2007 08:44:08 PM
This was my first hat pattern as well as my first Vogue pattern.  I haven't decorated the hat yet, but I was too excited to wait to take pictures.

Cheers.

66  Squid Hooks in Vintage Craft Projects by librarylolita on: June 10, 2007 07:11:20 PM
I think this goes here...  I found some old burlap so I decided to hook squid inspired art using yarn remnants and recycled plastic bags.  Voila:

68  Re: I *heart* the library swap gallery in The Swap Gallery by librarylolita on: June 01, 2007 08:07:41 PM
My loot has come!  Everything is super retro and very library chic.  My partner even included literature from her library and made packaging for her art from old bookcards and cardpockets.  Here it is:

Magnets:

ATC Cards and Bookplates:

Pinup Coasters:

A super detailed altered art book with book charms, quotes and paraphernalia:

And my favorite piece... "Shimmering Mary Todd" - artwork showing Mary Todd (w/Abe's photo in a locket) decoupaged under shimmery wrap:

Dina = Best swap partner ever!  Thanks!

They saw the movie... but they preferred the old hand drawn stuff better.
