I love the gathered pullover and the sweater girl pullover although for obvious reasons I'll need a substitute for the 13 balls of Kidsilk Haze they used!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Urban Outfitters scarf- deciphering the stitch pattern! on: October 24, 2007 06:01:35 AM
There's a similar knit stitch called Daisy Stitch which makes a nice scarf.

I don't have any advice on gauge but I would definitely advise adding some waist shaping. I made this and it is about the least flattering thing I've ever worn.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: K2T - Rowena? on: September 24, 2007 02:01:19 AM
I really want to make this but I'm having trouble finding yarn in the UK that fits the gauge and drape. I'll be following your progress with interest. I've made jumpers before with a wide neck and I like that style - maybe you could compare it to a similar garment you already own?
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Looking for an updated/fashionable Aran pattern on: September 21, 2007 01:19:52 AM
Or Gathering intentions from Inspired Cable Knits?
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Gretel beret, anyone? on: September 20, 2007 08:47:20 AM
