711  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Napoleon Dynamite Poster Belt on: August 08, 2006 04:03:50 PM
Thanks to RubberDucky's Ducktape and DumDum's belt I was inspired to make a Napoleon Dynamite poster belt. I also made a bunch of Incredible Hulk ones.

Gah! the belts look horrible on my dressform but whatever.
712  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Incredible Hulk purse thing on: August 08, 2006 03:56:43 PM
It was going to be a messanger bag but I ran out of ducktape. *Sighs* Everyone and their grandmother can make a ducktape purse, it's nothing origional but I love doing it anyway.

Don't mind the messy closet, or the ugly American Eagle bag in the background, my sisters stuff was invading my space again.

715  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: charlie & the chocolate factory dress on: July 28, 2006 11:34:50 AM
You don't really want that dress do you? I have the perfect matching shoes! I love it! Did you make it free hand or did you use some kind of pattern? Oh Zues, I wish I had your sewing skills!
716  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Mime Shirt-> Cool (I think so, anyway) Striped tank on: July 28, 2006 11:29:18 AM

717  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Don't call me a Dum-Dum! [img heavy] on: July 25, 2006 08:08:57 PM
That's so cool! I'm inspired to do one now, except methinks I'm going to use my Napoleon Dynamite poster instead of dumdum wrappers. I don't think Napoleon would really like being cut up but we'll see what happens. I love the hot pink ducktape, I wish we had some here :-)
718  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Sewing machine crisis on: July 25, 2006 07:18:01 PM
I didn't mean to make my post difficult to read, I went to subway in the middle of writting it. Then I came back and began writting again, then I stopped near the end to watch Jaws and then I finally posted my question. I never really used the machine before because I prefered hand sewing but when I opened it up to check the inside I got black oily stuff all over my fingers, which I'm assuming was oil? (I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to sewing machines) I guess I'll take it somewhere and see what they can do, I might just get a new machine.
719  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: ~~~BEHOLD!!!!~~~ on: July 25, 2006 07:11:14 PM
I love your shoes, very random-y! Now if only I were brave enough to try and paint my converse sneakers, I'm afraid to mess 'em up
720  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Spanish Class Project on: July 25, 2006 06:52:32 PM
I wish I would have looked at this topic sooner, I would have had the perfect project for you (but being that I only just joined) maybe you can use the idea for next year? You could sew spanish worry dolls, you could make candy skulls, and there are really elaborate tissue paper art hangings out there you could make all it takes is tissue paper and scissors. You could make non alcoholic wine that Spanish people drink on the holidays Check out 'day of the dead' on the internet and you'll be hit with a million ideas
