81  Funky purple flower print totebag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by mouseatethekitty on: September 05, 2006 04:07:42 PM
I made this bag for school so I wouldn't have to carry my backpack to school on the first day. The fabric was hidden in the bottom of one of my grandmother's trunks. When I first pulled it out it was going to become a stuffed animal but I went for a totebag instead.

I didn't feel like pulling my books out of it so it looks kinda wonky but whatever. The inside material is a light minty sort of green.

82  My skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mouseatethekitty on: August 08, 2006 04:14:06 PM
I had this jean type of fabric laying around for ages and finally decided to do something with it, I made my first skirt :-) I plan to sharpie or bleach the skirt up with skulls and hearts. Maybe I'll post that some other time.

Gah! the waist ended up being two or three inches bigger than I thought it would turn out, and now it's falling off my waistless dress form

83  Napoleon Dynamite Poster Belt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by mouseatethekitty on: August 08, 2006 04:03:50 PM
Thanks to RubberDucky's Ducktape and DumDum's belt I was inspired to make a Napoleon Dynamite poster belt. I also made a bunch of Incredible Hulk ones.

Gah! the belts look horrible on my dressform but whatever.

84  Incredible Hulk purse thing in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by mouseatethekitty on: August 08, 2006 03:56:43 PM
It was going to be a messanger bag but I ran out of ducktape. *Sighs* Everyone and their grandmother can make a ducktape purse, it's nothing origional but I love doing it anyway.

Don't mind the messy closet, or the ugly American Eagle bag in the background, my sisters stuff was invading my space again.

85  My supercool ducktape/poprocks purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by mouseatethekitty on: July 23, 2006 06:07:23 PM
Yeah, being bored is always my downfall. I walked to the store with my friend and bought a bunch of poprocks, and ate waaaaaaaaay too many poprocks. So what's a girlie to do? Make a purse, that's the logical answer :-) I ran out of clear packing tape so of course the edges of the purse are collecting hair, and it's only the purses first day out :-( and yes, yes, those are safety pins.

Sorry the images are kinda fuzzy. The back of the purse says "Swear to shake it up and you swear to listen. Oh we're still so young desperate for attention" for you Panic! at the disco fans out there.

86  My snazzy Gir T-shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mouseatethekitty on: July 23, 2006 05:53:18 PM
Yay! My first post! I printed out block letters to use as stencils for the red felt letters. Then I took some spare lime green cloth I had and made Gir's face, it didn't turn out so bad.
Now let's see if the pic shows up dunh. dunh. duhn.
