22  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: no purses!? talk about being overly paranoid... on: August 24, 2006 02:27:41 PM
I would:

Make a bag- a big one.. but transparent so they can't complain

Make a felt pouch.. but make it *look* like a soft-toy gun/knife/overly cute and unoffensive (i.e. make a pink gun-shaped-purse and put cute eyes and a smiley face on it)

 Cheesy
23  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: polkadot felt? on: August 23, 2006 12:31:45 PM
I've never heard of felt with patterns on before  Huh

It may exist.. if not.. have you considered making your own felt (or needle felting dots onto a sheet of felt to make your own patterns?)

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I would put white on the eyes personally, makes them look cute. Cheesy
Someone doodled me a cute marshmallow once, it looked cute because of the big eyes:
It might help a little. Smiley

Edit: I thought that pear looked familiar...

Wow!! Thank you for the link! My one had eyelashes like that but I pulled them off.. I wonder what other types of fruit are out there Smiley

Dear Diane

Thank you for all your help.
I invested in a pasta machine yesterday.. I actually saved 10 on it so splurged and also bought a clay extruder (yaaaaay!). I'm so excited about using them..

I can't wait to show off my work eventually.
Thanks again for all your help!
