the feedbag sacks are a woven thick plastic. So it's basically plastic fabric! It's kind of a biotch to sew actually. there is absolutely no give to it and doesn't serge well but if you just want to do straight stitching and zigzagging, it's fine. It's just really stiff! It keeps it's shape nicely and softens up slightly over time though. I have a purse that i use every single day and it's holding up as good as the day i made it.

I made this yesterday and i'm all smitten over it! I made this from a discarded alpaca feedbag. Comments welcome and encouraged! I didn't get a great pic of the back but it says "animal feed" on it. Anyways here it is!

well ya never know! I just found a bunch more feed bags in the barn and i got a TON of compliments today at our local craft market. everyone wanted one! My friend wants me to make her one so i'm gonna work on it tonight or tomorrow. I'll show off pics when it's done! Thanks for the encouragement!!

i do like the cow face too and was thinking about having it on the front flap but ended up cutting it too small so it just ended up that the all breed was on the outside. But now i kind of think of it as the animals being in the "barn" or something like that  Wink
