These are very pretty - my grandmother used to make something similar as mats to put under dishes of food on polished table surfaces.

26  U.K. AND IRELAND / SCOTLAND / Re: Craft outlets Glasgow on: July 26, 2006 01:37:47 PM
Great idea - this city is sadly short of innovative material supplies- I paint and embroider/make cards from own images and my daughter makes funky bespoke bags and lots of different beadwork jewellery - any outlets would be fantastic. Hope to hear more from you - best of luck!

Hi there, I paint flowers pictures/make cards from my own paintings-also embroider landscapes. Daughter makes beaded jewellry and stitches bags and things.....so add us 2 to the list of interested stall holders for a craftfest in Glasgow. I guess Byres Rd area is the best locale- where all the trendy people hang out. Will wait(and amass things to sell) to hear of first big event    Good luck.

I was in Perth a few weeks ago - and there is a new little shop which only sells beads - absolutely fabulous - take the bus and get yourself there - it is almost at the river downtown, not far from St.John's Kirk - sorry cannot remember the street - but the tourist info place should be able to help. Take lots of dosh as you will want to buy!!!!!
