412  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: The Great Potato on: November 23, 2004 12:21:56 AM
When I was younger (ehh...) we used to get plastic cups and fill them half way with bison glue, pop in whatever (usually bugs... and sometimes flowers) and let it dry. The white glue turned clear (or atleast yellowishly clear), and we could sorta peel away the cup... tadaa! same principal for ure tater? Smiley

I think it's gonna stay in that shape regardless of what you do... Tho if you cut out the shapes you want you could bend those way easyer than the big strip

Hmmm, I'm confused... naughtysecretary.com seems to be a porn site.  I didn't see any record bags, but maybe I was distracted by all those boobs...

naughtysecretaryclub.com

hey, just thought I'd post this, don't know if anyone has attempted it yet (I'm waaaay to tired to look yet again  Smiley)
Anyhow i had seen this at naughtysecretaryclub.com (oops sorry Smiley)

and thought '' why not? seems simple enuff'
So I had been making record bowles the past two weeks for xmas prezzies (to fill them up with stuff that would suit the person... man are they ever hard to wrap!!!) so I had some (loads...) left:

stupid thing was that I didnt know the measurement so i had to use a tapemeasure to figure it out... Takes ages to do and loads of stickytape:

After doing that I got the fabric (i measured 36 cm so i made it about 39 incase!): (love coca cola)

That's after sewing it... I just took a random size, folded it double, sewed about an inch from the top, and sewed the botom parts together neatly.

After that it was tricky... The glue it to the bowl part... note all the twisty turny things the bowl has Sad
I tried using normal glue first but it took ages for it to dry, and you can't really move on untill the 1st part is stuck so out of pure annoyance (word???) I used secondelijm, that's dutch (indeed dutch... greetings from Holland) for... ehh... well very fast drying glue? Ehh super glue?
And yay! It works! Here is the finished result:

Sorry bout the webcam shots but I broke the charger for the digicam SadSad

What do u guys think?
