1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Help with Sock Dog- Now w/ Pictures on: March 19, 2013 04:45:39 PM
Hello, as I said in my earlier post I am trying to make the sock dog from the book, Sock and Glove and having absolutely  NO success with the head.  So now I am including pictures of what I am trying (?) to do

Photo 1:  Just the sock head stuffed
Photo 2:  Right and Left corners of the back of the head folded.
Photo 3:  Folding of the Bottom and Top
Photo 4:  Finished Product

As you can see.... not very good.  And as for the nose of the dog. I'm coming up blank. So I'm in a pickle and I hope that someone can help me out.  I appreciate it so much Smiley  Also advice on types of socks and where to get would be ever so helpful.  I am a very beginning crafter but very eager to learn.  Thanks again and have a great day!!

Hello!  I guess I missed the sock dog trend by a few years but I hope someone can help me.  I am currently making the sock dog in Sock and Glove.  And for the life of me I can't get the head folded the right way! Angry   I have tried and tried and am just totally stumped.  If anyone could help I would be forever grateful.  Also what are the best kinds of socks and gloves used to make the animals?  I got some knit work gloves @ ACE but the knit seems to be too loose.  Thank you all again! 7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Looking for deep pendant charms on: February 08, 2008 01:52:43 PM
I am looking for deep pendants that are used as photo charms/altered art.  I am looking for square ones.  I don't want them too large, the size I could put on a charm bracelet or use as a pendant.  Thanks Bunches!
