12  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Durability on: July 25, 2006 12:04:34 PM
I know that iron-on transfers arn't going to be the most durable, but they seem the easiest and the best for me to start doing.  So I was wondering what I can do to make them last longer and how long they'll last.  thank you

15  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Alice In Wonderland Room?? HELP! on: July 08, 2006 01:24:49 PM
Do you all know how Gwen Stefani took a bunch of stuff from Alice In Wonderland and made it into a music video.  Well my all time favorite Disney movie is Alice In Wonderland, and I want to decorate my room up like that I'm thinking.  But I don't want it to look childish, I want it to look cool and modern like Gwen Stefani did.  I think it's a pretty out-of-the-box theme for someone my age (15).  Does anyone have some helpful tips/ ideas?  For like wall color and such.  I have an idea to take out all the things that I really like, like the Caterpillar, and the Queen of Hearts, and of course the White Rabbit and his clock and the Mad Hatter!! And then trying to fit them into my room somehow.  But I'm not sure how it'd all work,  I also want it to be like not so Alice in Wonderland that I have pictures of her and the characters everywhere.  Just so that when you walk in you feel like you're in the movie.  Anyway I know it's a lot to ask, but if anyone has any ideas I'm glad to hear them! Thank you!
16  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Bedroom Help *Attention All Wicked Decorators* on: July 07, 2006 03:25:55 PM
Okay, so I want to re-do my room.  My parents are split up so I have two of them, and to give you all an idea of something I'd like I'll tell you what I'm doing at my mom's.  I'm going to paint my room black and red, two red walls, one balck, and the third will be a diamond pattern of both.  I'm reeeally influenced by music it's my passion so I'l going to but posters all over of all the bands I like.  It's going to be cool.  but I don't know what I can do at my dad's since he REALLY doesn't want me to paint it black or anything like that.  But I'm already doing it so I want to do something else.  I want it to be really quirky and out of the box, with a very weird theme.  But I don't have any ideas... since I'm so passionate about music I've been looking at the posters of bands I like and their music videos to pull a theme from but I've got nothing.... so to give you all an idea of what I like I'll list some of my favorite bands and let your magical minds go to work.  My Chemical Romance, The Used, 30 Seconds To Mars, Paramore, Matchbook Romance, System Of A Down, Billy Talent, Three Days Grace, and Slipknot just to name a few.  Pleeeease help me if you all could?? Thank you.
