31  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Crafty Detective 3 on: June 03, 2007 10:38:51 PM
Also, I forget what we decided, and I admit to being a little lazy and not wanting to re-read through 30 pages of posts.. are we supposed to reveal who we are in our package?

Here was my response about the reveal...
If you want to reveal yourself in the package, go ahead. That's what I'll be doing. As for posting pics and revealing to everyone else I thought we'd wait for everyone to receive before announcing who our stalkers were. Of course, some stalkers will be given away by pics of what was sent, but over all I think that'll be okay. If you don't want to reveal yourself in your package, and want your stalkee to guess, just keep that to PMs, until everyone's received.

Thanks for taking the initiative! I was going to call for a general check-in starting tomorrow. If you're behind for whatever reason, and don't want to post in the thread, feel free to shoot me a PM. Wink

Anyone I haven't heard from by Friday, June 8, will receive a PM asking for contact. Please respond asap, even to say I'm still alive but will be sending late. If you do not respond to this PM, I will note Unsatisfactory Communication in your feedback, even if you send on time. I don't want this to seem harsh. The reasoning behind it is our month-long crafting time. I need to know you guys are still out there crafting, and intending to send. Smiley

Well, I'm working on a medium-sized item that is going to take me some time to finish.  Does this mean that I can count it as a large item?
For size, please use your discretion based on the following guidelines. Wink

By Time
-Big=3 or more hours
-Medium=2 or more hours
-Little=2 or less hours

By Size
-Big=A shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a set of jewelry with four to five items, a purse
-Medium= one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf
-Small- Earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks

By Price
-Big= $30 or more
-Medium=$10-$30 dollars
-Small=$10 or less

Walk and knit!!!   Grin
Granted, that takes a bit more coordination than I cuold muster today....  I hipchecked the fridge at work, and practically fell over my coworker...    Embarrassed

Well, I don't knit yet. I crochet, but even that means holding the hook, yarn, and leash all at the same time. I don't think I'm quiiiiite that coordinated! Grin

First, raina, cool avatar. (you know I'll notice!)
Second, I need that taser that is floating around.  Grown men are not playing well together and they are throwing sand.  I am staying out of it.  I would craft at work, but those guys would end up with a crochet hook in their eye.  Sheesh!
Third, stop talking on the Round 3 thread! I can't keep up with it all yet! hehe
Fourth, Italian Roast is coffee code for espresso beans ground for regular coffee. We would use it when we were low on dark roast and up to our ears in espresso.

Thanks! I can't really craft at work, either, since I walk doggies and pet-sit (and house-sit).  Wink

You guys are making me want coffee!

It's in the rules, but only briefly, but you're right it's not in the FAQ yet, I got caught up in work this morning and didn't finish the FAQ.  I'll add it and make it more prominent in the rules!

Okay, just checking. Work is dumb. I wish we could all craft all day...

2nd new rule.  This is the one that helps me out!  When you make a claim, to us, in the proper format, you'll also take the same claim, in the same format, and paste it into the end of your swap shop.  And when someone claims from you, you'll do the same thing.  It can be in a little font, or however you want to do it, but it will need to be there.

This one also helps you guys out, because if I'm behind on points, or xladyluckx is behind on claims, you can always look at someone's shop and see whatever you need to see right there.

This rule isn't in the FAQ or sign up thread for Round 3. You still want us to list claims in our shops, yes?

Spanish Composition is incredible! I loves it. I'd definitely like something like it in wall-sized art... when I have a wall of my own, anyway. Grin
