thanks! I'm not sure how to make a tute, though. I made the pattern myself. I cut it out in profile, and sewed it together. nothing fancy or special. I just used an old sweater from the thrift store.  I reckon you could use any teddy bear pattern and do something similar.

I'm trying to think of everything I can share. I drew the pattern myself, and I'm not ready to post that, not quite yet.  Wink  but as soon as I have all my ducks lined in a row, I'll share it.  I needle sculpted the faces, I'll add details to the first post to show close ups of the faces.  They are pretty simple to make. There are beans in the head and the body.  They feel very realistic.

LOL!

They can wear preemie sized clothes and some newborns.  The first one is made from cotton spandex fabric and the second one is made from cotton interlock.  The stretchy spandex blend one came out a tad bit larger.  I'm still working on tweaking the pattern and making it washable and child proof.

Oh! and trying to find the right fabric paint that is permanent enough to be washable but light enough to blush has been hectic.  some one here suggested paint stix, so as soon as i can i'm gonna order some and try those next.  i nearly ruined the pink doll trying to get her blushed.

she's blushed mainly with crayon that will wash away the first time she's washed, but her lips will stay.

Thanks! I was, er, trying to get up the nerve to approach you out of the blue.  Grin  Paintsticks sound just like something that I would be comfortable with!  I'm  going to keep those in mind.  For now I have some acrylic fabric paints coming in the mail just to see if I like them.  but i think i'll probably switch over to paint sticks because i really like the sound of that.  Thanks again!  Smiley
