1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: I have this dress... on: October 24, 2007 02:09:25 PM
I added a close-up of the top. It's kind of hard to see in the pictures, but it's like a dark green with little flowers on it.
2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / I have this dress... on: October 16, 2007 01:18:56 PM
I bought this dress at a second hand store a few months ago.

here's a close up of the top.
I'd like to use it for Halloween somehow, but I can't really think of any way to use it. Any suggestions?
p.s. I don't know how to make the pictures any bigger...

Well now, I was just looking around crafster, and I see this is post. I think to myself, " hey, my sister just made a striped shirt with shoes on it." so then I look at the post, and it is my sister! what a coincidence. It also made me realize how dirty our mirror is.

7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Pairs Hilton costume help on: October 17, 2006 12:57:45 PM
Ok, so this year, I decided I wanted to be Paris Hilton for Halloween. Right now, I've got a wig and big sunglasses. The rest I think will be pretty easy to find- huge purse, stuffed chihuahua, pink shoes, etc. The only thing I might have a problem with is the dress. It seems easy enough, just a pink, maybe sparkily dress, but I'm from New Brunswick (Canada) and it's pretty cold here at Halloween. I'm also only thirteen. Any suggestions?
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: needed: trash can half of an oscar the grouch costume... on: October 17, 2006 12:52:48 PM
Oh my goodness!!! I actually did this same thing two years ago!!! I got an aluminun garbage can and cut the bottom out. It was quite akward to sit down, but I was walking most of the time (I was eleven....no parties to go to...) so it wasn't all that bad.

I think you should definetly be Paris Hilton and use your dog as Tinkerbell!!
10  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Need a really good idea for HAlloween Costume!!! on: October 08, 2006 10:47:37 AM
ONe year, I went as oscar the grouch. I cut the bottom out of an aluminum garbage can, made duct tape suspenders, green felt gloves, painted my face and wore a green t shirt. The only hard part was cutting out the bottom of the garbage can.
