heey thats so cool
how did u made it?
here's a quick written blurb.
i'm all about lacking patterns (haha not, i wish i had used a shirt pattern i found after, and then just built on it.)
anyway, i tucked in sleeves of a hoodie that fit good and of similar stretch, and then i traced that out and added a few inches all the way around. then i sewed it to fit.
did the same thing with the sleeves. they were folded in half and i traced it on a fold in the fabric, added a few inches, and cut out two obviously. its kind of hard describing putting them in but yeah, if you know how to put sleeves in thats how you do it. (again a good picture tutorial would be great here haha) i also put twill tape on the shoulders after this.
i made the hood by tracing it while it was in half and cut four pieces, two for the lining and two for the outer. there's a lot of good hood tuts on here. all you really do for a lined hood is sew the two pieces of hood for the outer shell along the back together (right sides facing) and do the same for the lining. then shove the lining in the outer and sew along the opening (right sides facing) and turn it inside out and attach on. and i did a double stitch thingy when i attached it because the hood turned out a bit heavy.
the collar, hoodie pocket, and cuffings were all added now. i don't know how to describe it but that's about it.
reading over that, it probably makes no sense at all. if a few more people would like to know how to make one, i'll document it the next time i make one and do a tutorial (it'd be my first!) haha
wow thanks!!! :]
hey, it would be really awesome if u put a tut
