1  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 15 ENTRIES / Herbert the Zombie Muppet on: October 05, 2006 07:58:08 PM
This is Herbert, he's a zombie puppet with a brain.  It's insanely hard to take pictures of a puppet that you're wearing, btw.  haha

edited to add that he's named after Dr. Herbert West from Re-Animator.

and the action shots..

2  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 14 ENTRIES / Tiny Knitting Bag on: August 03, 2006 10:31:19 PM
I've got some big fingers, so this was a really hard challenge to do!  And even harder to get good pictures of.

the knitting bag.  I painted that design on there with a toothpick because I didn't have brushes small enough.

some "yarn" and "needles" I put inside

I lined it!  a little messy, but considering how small it is, I'm happy with it!

3  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 13 ENTRIES / Dr. Sock-n-furter... In just seven days, I can make you a monkey! (New Pics!) on: July 06, 2006 04:38:17 AM
edit:  after posting this I thought he needed his tattoo (minus the BOSS, embroidery and I do not get along) shoes, sideburns, earrings, and arm thingies, so he went back into surgery, so here's the new improved Dr. Sock-N-Furter!

based off of Dr. Frank-n-Furter from the Rocky Horror Picture Show

He's just a sweet transvestite, from transexual Sockylvania.

Oops, we lost a garter

Sometimes even smiling makes my face ache!

4  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 12 ENTRIES / Delirium Air Freshener Cover (Image Heavy!!) on: June 04, 2006 05:49:01 PM
For my challenge entry I chose to do an air freshener cover of Delirium from Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics. Here's a link to a picture if you're not sure who she is http://lostlibrary.org/resim/resim/delirium.jpg

I started with a bunch of supplies, as seen here on the conveyor belt (the woman in line behind me must have thought I was nuts taking pics of this.), doll head, pom pons, pipe cleaners, wire, felt, glue gun, etc.

I re-rooted the dolls hair, replacing it with pipe cleaners, made her a tank top out of felt and a fishnet undershirt out of black tulle, her skirt is pink and purple tulle, her fish is attached to her with wire so he can float around with her, and I painted one eye green.  Oh, and stuck a fresh linen air freshener up her rear.

and here she is finished.

3 Mandatory Supplies used:
Pipe cleaners - hair and fish
Pom Pon - the fish
Doll head - er.. the dolls.. head?  Lips sealed
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Stuffed felt Cuttlefish -- Cthulu on: May 21, 2004 11:02:09 PM
I went with my boyfriend to the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN this week where he fell in love with the cuttlefish, being the big H.P. Lovecraft fan that he is, so me feeling all confident from the jordy bags I've been making decided to make him a stuffed cuttlefish.  I think it turned out rather well.   Cheesy

http://img72.photobucket.com/albums/v219/fishiegopook/cuttlefish2.jpg this is a pic of the cuttlefish at the aquarium
and this is my stuffed cuttlefish.

gahh..these pictures are huge, and bad quality.  Sorry!
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / yet another jordy bag from a first time sewing machine user on: May 21, 2004 06:12:32 PM
I'm 22, and have never machine sewed anything in my life.  Or really sewn anything aside from buttons and patches and cat toys.  But with Jordy's tutorial, I was able to make 3 bags, with plans for more.  Thank you so much for that awesome tutorial!   Grin

this is only my second post on here, and my first time using photobucket, so we'll see if the pictures turn out.  Sorry for the crappy webcam photos!
