Wow, this is a very pretty dress. I'm sure it was great to twirl in!  Cheesy Was this your own pattern, or a commercial one? Either way, fantastic job on the dress.

I like this. I've thought about making one of these for a while. (Scarves only do so much.) I'm currently crocheting one, but I want to make one out of fabric too. How long is yours?

These are really cool. I like the designs made by the clashing patterns of the envelopes. Very creative and cool looking. I especially like that it's upcycling. Great job!
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: my homecoming dress!! on: September 20, 2009 08:57:58 PM
This is a really pretty dress. I'm not fond of any pink, but the colors contrast well. It looks great on you!  Cheesy You accomplished your goal of making something wearable, interesting, and unique.
I second the Fray Check suggestion. It may really help you if you want to save it for the future/keep it from fraying as you dance. Have fun!

It's beautiful. I love the pintuck-esque seams in the back, the open back panel, the silhouette, everything. You've got a knack for beautiful design and lovely details. Great job, I love it!
