So my friend Emily is Mormon and she went to some girls camp and gave me her shirt that she got from there. I wore it for gym a lot beocuse it was really frumpy and didnt fit my body shape in anyway at all. wellllll I was bored this morning and made it cute!!! To bad its already to cold here in Michigan to wear it out!

This is what its says:

Side View:

Two pics of the halter strap I made from ribbon:

What do you think? I took it in on both sides so it was fitting and made it a halter but thats about it. Very simple but a HUGE improvement!<3

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My very first pants!(comments please)<3 on: September 11, 2006 01:21:45 PM
Okkay sooooo I used http://community.livejournal.com/t_shirt_surgery/3597625.html as my tute and I was a bit confused at first BUT once I got it, this is so easy!

Before:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j203/michaeladinomarie/Self%20photos/00Pants1.jpg

During:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j203/michaeladinomarie/Self%20photos/00Pants2.jpg

After:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j203/michaeladinomarie/Self%20photos/00Pants3.jpg

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j203/michaeladinomarie/Self%20photos/00Pants4.jpg

I actually messed up on these. On the step where I was supposed to turn them backwards to sew them I put on of the peices facing the outside. So when I was done sewing the pants my back halfs pictures was on the inside. I wasn't going to give up sooooo I just decided to cover up what picture was showing and use a green material for the waist band and I put a heart on the leg.

Final:

This is the heart I put on the leg:
