So I finished about a yard of crocheted scarf. I think that's what I will get done. I finished of a few small skeins of yarn so yay for de-stashing a bit! After I finish these Twinchies for a stitchery swap I will send both packages at the same time. Would it be OK if I included some extra yarn? You know, in case your scarf isn't long enough?

Thats brilliant jexxican! thank you so much, and yes, any extra yarn is more than welcome  Grin

as requested her is the pick of the 'scarf' so far:

I really need to get a few friends round to help me join it all up and measure it properly!

just a mini destash - but everylittle bit helps Smiley

Xmas last year I got a pack of 6 mini pate jars(each about 3" tall):

Too cute to throw out I thought, so I have upcycled the 1st finished one to a Mothers day present:

Nothing bought, all from stash & even used my hot glue gun for the 1st time (also xmas pressie last year)

bookstorebabe - I'm loving the steampunk as always! Also have serious crafster-crush on you ray guns! That one would look amazing on my mantle peice  Grin

hey all, sorry I've not been around for a bit - work..life..back pain, kinda all got in the way. Have been lurking a little though, loving all the pretties being posted.

I've updated my List a bit - cleared 1 project, started 1 and finshed a new item Smiley

I made my mum a small mothers day pressie, and in the process got around to using my Hot glue gun (on my list of 'Doorstopper' craft things!). I upcylde a 3" tall glass jar to a pincushion:

Small I know but given the complete lack of creative energy I have had in the last few months I'm still proud Smiley And I got over my fear of the hot glue gun (thats what been putting me off from using it)

I GOT MY QUILT TOP FINISHED!! ahem, sorry  Grin just really happy to have got this 'finished'.

here it is laid out on our superking size bed. It still has to be layered up and I am going to hand quilt it - so it will take a while to be completly finished - but I am still classing this as a finshed item for this month Smiley

I will do a more details post on the quilting board once it's really finished. I basicaly completly re-designed the entire pattern from a small lap quilt to this hug monster Smiley not bad for a beginer quilter, eh? only my 2nd quilt ever and the 1st one I have (almost) designed  Smiley

ahhh...I have been rolling my piece and dragging it around the house... Grin...I am crazy to do stripes as there is so much to weave in, but I could not do a long stretch of a single ball! Grin

Simple solution - self striping yarn Smiley

I do know what you mean though. Before I run out of de-stashed yarn I will have 3 balls of pink, 2 balls of green and 1 ball of white to ge through knittng. I've just taken to watching tv shows/movies to distract me.

One more ball of yarn cleared from my stash:

This is section 2 I have knitted for the Bothwell Street BigKnit I am helping organise

so 1 ball less =Yaay! but my mum cleared 4 100g balls from her stash to me, but as it is all to be used in the Bothwell Street BigKnit I am not realy counting it as being in  'my stash'  Grin
