1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Secret Stash (who's got one??) on: November 25, 2006 03:39:37 AM
My pile of stash is steadily growing. I always seem to buy the wrong fabric. I'll be in the shops, see some, be amazed at how pretty it is and then when I get home realise that it doesn't suit any of the patterns I have but since its so nice i just add it to the pile. One day I'll be found buried alive under a mountain of fabric.
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Giant Ornaments on: November 22, 2006 08:12:13 PM
Those are so cool! At first i thought it was rudolf but its one of the others. You've drawn the reindeer so well. Just a random thought but any idea on how you could stick them to a wall without the hooks?
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Misfit Christmas Ornaments *update* added disney & willow tree ornaments too! on: November 22, 2006 08:03:24 PM
oooh i love the Disney ones...probably because i barely remember the old rudolf cartoon Embarrassed the pics only look vaguely familiar. I love how neat the decorations are though not a crease or crinckle in sight.
4  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Dollar Store Swap Round 3 (Sign ups 11/9 - 11/23; Send outs 1/8) on: November 22, 2006 04:34:42 AM
So many first-time swappers so I might as well be a sheep and join as well Grin. I just submitted my form as well hopefully I can make a nice gift for my partner. I already have a few ideas I just have to check that the things I want are in the right shops.
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: "My name is SARAH" swap. on: November 21, 2006 06:44:06 PM
In aus they're usually pronounced the same. Spelling how to say stuff is hard...the UK pronounciation sounds a bit strange but that might just be me...here Sarah is kinda said 'Sare(ryhmes with bear)-rah'
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Pets or weird people doing weird things to your craft.... on: November 21, 2006 02:09:37 AM
I can't leave any craft projects alone even for a minute. They're either slept on, stolen and hidden somewhere or killed horribly...my dog once ate some buttons i was gonna use on a journal.
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Usernames: Talk about Crafty! on: November 21, 2006 02:02:55 AM
My name is the same as my email. It comes from flipping through books one day in Art class, there was a picture of a 2 storey metal rabbit that looked like the blow-up silver kind at the Easter Show...that transformed into a bubble in my mind. Bubbles are very fragile and metal is very not...so tada!
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: "My name is SARAH" swap. on: November 21, 2006 01:04:08 AM
A sarah swap ay? Intriguing. I'm in Aus so there might be a bit of a problem there with postage costs.
There was one other sarah in my primary year and now in highschool I'm good friends with another sarah...I used to be called Other Sarah (so horrible) but have been upgraded to Kingsley because every part of my name relates to royalty and my small obsession with harry potter. Hurray for story sharing!
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: knitting gone horribly horribly wrong on: November 17, 2006 01:33:35 AM
The main thing is to just keep positive and keep trying.
