21  Flower Power!! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AlexisMomOf3 on: August 06, 2008 09:52:22 AM
I spent the time to cut, pin and get it all set up last night while the girls were sleeping and got it all done up this morning. It is a nice oversized bag for the beach I thought it was super cute. It is another canvas fabric so nice and thick.

22  Whale of a dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by AlexisMomOf3 on: August 02, 2008 08:03:29 PM
I got this idea from Nero Fiore, I loved the first one very very much and made 2 of them up so far. Here is my creation, I just actually noticed I have to add the pocket on the front of it before I send it out to a mom in the city here.

23  Retro Top in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by AlexisMomOf3 on: August 01, 2008 09:19:51 AM
I made this for my younger girls to wear as a baby zombie chicken/pillowcase dress, however I thought it would be funny to see if my teenager fit it and to my surprise she did. Here is the oldest wearing the dress as a top.

25  Retro-ish Pleated Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AlexisMomOf3 on: July 29, 2008 05:37:44 PM
Sorry I do not have the dimensions of the bag but I will update later. I just kinda wing it when it comes to bag size since I like to make them various sizes often. Anyhow I picked this fabric up at a great price and its a canvas style fabric so really thick and sturdy!

26  Weekend Tote Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AlexisMomOf3 on: July 16, 2008 08:55:42 AM
I made this up for when I had my last daughter for my hospital bag, I now use it for my weekend bag to the beach. I am very happy with it, 8 pockets in total, enough to put 4 days of clothing for me and my 2 youngest daughters. I found the fabric at Walmart in the discount bin, its got some lycra in it and so very thick and sturdy.

27  New style large bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AlexisMomOf3 on: July 16, 2008 08:52:21 AM
I made up 2 of these so far. I am going to tweak the design a bit more and add in 1 more layer of interfacing to make it more sturdy.

The inside is lined with chocolate brown fabric, and has 2 big pockets for bottles. I am thinking of making a matching cell phone holder that straps to one of the shoulder straps. It closes with a magnetic closure.

28  Travel Case * Tut Link Added* in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AlexisMomOf3 on: July 15, 2008 07:56:37 AM
I made a few of these up over the past couple years for friends to have when their little ones are pratically potty trained or if they are just making a run to the store and back home. They are such handy little items to have.

Here is one that I still have and considering keeping for myself since my toddler is fully potty trained. It shows how much it holds and what it holds.

I have a baggy filled with wipes (could not find my travel container) 3 pull ups and 3 diapers.

29  Re: halter dress for my lil one NOW with tute (massive pics)!!! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by AlexisMomOf3 on: July 14, 2008 02:21:13 PM
Great attack! I just whipped one up in 45 minutes. I did not use the tape for both sides but just put a nice seam on the outside part of the straps. Here is mine (sorry girls are napping so not action shots yet).

30  Pillowcase Dresses in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by AlexisMomOf3 on: July 13, 2008 09:24:35 PM
I have been on a kick with the pillowcase dresses and have had a great amount of interest in purchases from online friends and friends that are in the city where I live. What do you think of them?
