I made this today... when I should have been doing other things... out of ribbon and felt scraps. I think it turned out pretty darn cute, don't you think?

Try bravenet.com. It's free, and has some decent and easy templates. Plus, it's only $5 a month if you ever want to upgrade (and get your own domain, more design templates, etc. etc.) Good luck!

I just finished this apron, it's going to be a present for my grandma. It's made from a salmon cotton fabric, with bright orange print cotton pockets (the bottom one is pleated!). Hope you like it!

Thanks everyone! I found the fabric at a little local fabric store in California - very cute little shop, but quite pricey. This just happened to be on the sale rack - only $4.00 a yard! I love it when that happens. Smiley And the pattern is my own creation.

I finished this one over spring break. I am so unbelievably in love with this fabric - I'm kicking myself for only buying one yard. Anyway... hope you like it, let me know what you think!

It's a michael miller cotton print - I love his stuff, but this is one of my fav's.

Question: Did you use anything on the back or edges of your flower to keep it from unraveling?

No... I thought it was cool when it is floppy and frayed - gives it character. I may put some fraycheck around the edges of the petals if it starts to fray too badly though.

Thanks everyone! Smiley I agree about the neutrals - bright colors are definitely the way to go!

The white background came from a white piece of posterboard and a bit of tweaking in photoshop.  I posted a tutorial on the switchboards if you're interested:

thanks everyone! I'm so in love with it - I'm really reluctant to sell this one... but I'm broke, so ha. It's a new pattern I was testing out - my old style totes were way to complex, so I figured out a quicker way to do pretty much the same thing.

As for the fabric - I can't remember where I got it, I've had it for so long. It's a Michael Miller print (I love his stuff!).
