1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Tommy Toilet *Adult Language Warning!* on: May 18, 2008 03:21:49 PM
Hello everyone!
I made this for my brother - he use to tell me about some poster he saw once on the back of a bathroom door - it was something about a talking toilet and remembering to always wipe. After some research - I found the poster! It was hilarious so I had to make him a reminder of the poster!
I tried using red crayon but I don't think I darkened it enough - so that part didn't turn out so well! After finishing I tried to go back and "brighten" that part up but I started to mess things up more. I could go back and cut out all the yellow stitching and do white instead or black. Anyways just wanted to share- the original poster is just pretty funny if you can read it all!
Here is the original poster:

2  UNITED STATES / North Carolina / Any Sewing Groups?! (Fayetteville Area) on: February 23, 2008 04:25:20 PM
Hello! I was wondering if anyone belonged or knew of any sewing groups in the Fayetteville area?! I've lived here in Fayetteville for almost 2 years and I haven't heard of any groups around here! If anyone knows of any, please post the info because I would love to join some and get to know some fellow craftsters! Thanks! Smiley

Hello Everyone!
First off - ignore the two red spots! I didn't see the pieces of red crayon on the fabric when I went to iron it Sad so I'm working on stitching something over it or doing my best to get it out! Anywho I found the pattern from this site http://mytransfers.blogspot.com/2007/11/workbasket-holiday-cuties.html

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Stitched quote finished- Emerson on: March 09, 2007 10:58:59 AM
Hello everyone! So I've been reading some works by Emerson and have felt really moved by some of his works so I've been trying to write down some quotes that I enjoy as I read and I wanted to do something with the quotes I was writing down. I have seen posts with ppl having done some pretty neat stuff with stitching quotes so I thought I'd try it out. Its pretty simple but I like it!
