Now my camera is finally talking to my laptop, here are the ones I've received lately.

'If she had a myspace my cat would totally be in my top 8'

'No-one has seen me without full make up since 1985'

'My first kiss was when I was 18, but I tell everyone I was 12'

'I want my kid to be a superstar'

'Some days I wake up and feel like this'

'I used to have anorexia and bulimia. Now I'm just fat.'

'The future is fresh and exciting but I'm scared I'll mess up'

I still haven't worked out the plural of Adipose either.

Finally finally my camera and computer are talking to each other so my turn Cheesy

witchybelle4u2 sent mine in two halves and, for reasons best known to themselves, the royal mail have chosen to deliver only part 1 today. Roll Eyes However I'm far too excited by part 1 to wait until part 2 gets here before I show off the awesomness

A TARIDS tote bag

A sharpie holder for going to conventions, complete with sharpies. witchybelle4u2, I may now have to go to London just to have an excuse to use it soon since other than that my next definite planned con trip is in October which seems like far too long to wait Roll Eyes

TARDIS stitch markers (will be in use any minute since I'm casting on my next project this afternoon), a TARDIS painted domino pendant (which she says is the first one she's ever made) and a TARDIS stamp

Two ATCs

Thank you so much witchybelle4u2, I love it. I can't believe there's still something else to come!

While I wait for my camera to behave and link up properly with my computer I can offer a photo of Adrian II hanging out with Adrian I before he was sent on his way to his new home

(Adrian II is on the left)

I got my package from purpleone today and I am in LOVE with everything.
She claimed me for buttons, crochet hooks and fabric so imagine my surprise when I found not only those things but also magazines, beads, a pair of earrings AND a little panda for my grandmother.

A shot of everything

The awesome fabric. I've already been plotting what I'm going to do with it. (please excuse my jeans creeping into some photos)

Magazines, buttons, beads, and earrings.

The little panda (purpleone said she found it in a charity shop and remembered panda items had been on my list) which I gave to my grandmother this afternoon and completely made her day. I can't thank you enough for this purpleone, she'd had a bad few days and something as simple as that made her so much happier.
And finally a cat... oh wait I had him already. However I made the mistake of unpacking downstairs, I had quite a fight on my hands to get the box back Cheesy

Thank you so much for everything purpleone.

7  Re: Doctor Who and Spin Offs Swap Round 3 (Signups closed, send outs 6/2/08) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by stolendreams on: May 05, 2008 09:17:20 AM
My turn to make everyone jealous since I finally made my scanner work.

(and if I was only a little taller you'd be able to see that I'm wearing a John Barrowman t-shirt.)

That alone was worth the trip to MK, although the rest of the day and the other guests I met were fantastic too.
Everyone I spoke to yesterday (lots of random people, this is one of the things I love about cons) who'd had a photo shoot or got his autograph went on and on about how brilliant he was and gorgeous and nice and friendly. That's from young teenage girls right up people in their 50's+

I can't believe he made it through 1500 people with as long as the photo shoot session took! Go John! Lol.
Even more impressive when you consider he talked to everyone... well talked at... to be honest he babbled so much that he started the conversation with one of the people I was with, continued it with a second person and finished it with me. Not much actual talking was done by us since there was barely space to get a word in Cheesy

8  Amigurumi Alien in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by stolendreams on: April 25, 2008 09:36:17 PM
I fell in love with these little aliens after watching the first Doctor Who episode of the series and after doing a little searching discovered a wonderful person on Livejournal had created a crochet pattern for them.
Sadly, I understand, the pattern is no longer available due to some recent problems with people being reported for copyright violations.

But luckily this little guy was still completed thanks to me having already saved the pattern. I'm very proud of him because it's the first crochet project I've completed in a long time.

Here are the goodies I received from Edel

A shot of everything. Its all sitting on a tray cloth she included, which has little sheep along the edges (don't know how well you can see that) one of them is a black sheep. There's a tea infuser, some chocolate (that won't survive beyond today...). Tea from Ireland, a tea cosy and some tea themed notecards

the tea in lovely alice in wonderland themed packaging

tea notecards which I love

And finally... a sheep tea cosy Grin

Thank you so much Edel, I didn't miss anything out of those photos did I? Apologies for the bad lighting, I think I forgot to turn the flash on on my camera

Here we go, photos

(excuse the sideways-ness)

The faceplate is plain.

Now unless I'm doing this all wrong (which is possible), I looked up the serial number and it says it was made in 1896
