Great job of cleaning her up!  I had a doll just like her when I was a little girl.  Her name was Annette.  I remember wearing her dress and her rubber shoes.

Preciouspetals they are beautiful! Using the other type of filters seems to make a fuller rose, like a cabbage rose.  Thanks for sharing!  I reduced the Martha Stewart pattern and made smaller roses yesterday.   I will reduce the pattern again and see how they turn out.

Thank you! Grin  The best part about making it was using the cellophane bag that shrinks when you put a hair dryer to it.

Thanks again everyone!  Grin   wtpdesigns, I did use the Martha Stewart video and template.  I watched it about 20 times before I attempted it.
It took about 15 minutes to make the rose, 15 minutes to paint it and then I let dry overnight hanging upside down.  When they are completely dry I
curl them with a wooden skewer.  That seems to take the most time. I reduced the template and I will try the smaller roses sometime this week.  I will make the roses during my daughter's soccer practice!

My brother and his wife had twins not too long ago and I made this cake for them.  It was alot of fun to make.  Thanks to all of the posts on Craftster, I was able to pull it off.  No one could believe I made it myself  Smiley
