Preciouspetals they are beautiful! Using the other type of filters seems to make a fuller rose, like a cabbage rose.  Thanks for sharing!  I reduced the Martha Stewart pattern and made smaller roses yesterday.   I will reduce the pattern again and see how they turn out.

My brother and his wife had twins not too long ago and I made this cake for them.  It was alot of fun to make.  Thanks to all of the posts on Craftster, I was able to pull it off.  No one could believe I made it myself 

I finally had the time to try making the coffee filter roses and I love the way they turned out! I need more practice with painting but it was alot of fun!  I would like to try to making smaller roses next.  Please tell me what you think
