I made the faces with an art doll mold that I have since I can't draw or paint people to save my life.  All of the clays have been mixed with a bit of pearl clay, which gives them a nice sheen.  I thought it wasn't bad for my first projects.

Hey everyone!

Please check out my Beach Ina box.  I love it and I had so much fun making it:





I took one of those wooden boxes you can get at the craft store, painted  it and aged it, glued some trinkets along with a mermaid in the bottom of the box, glued a pic of the beach in the lid and I sealed it all with a bunch of resin so it looks like water.  Then I made starfish and coral out of sculpey, which I may add is very cool, and some real shells.  Please let me know what ya think.

you know, i was thinking the other night...scary isn't it.  And i was like, self, what would you do with this neato looking liquid sculpey that you saw on the web....hmm.

Then I was like, wow, I have alot of bottle caps.  And there is those cool resin bottlecap projects that I see on here all the time.  Then the lightbulb went off, I wonder if the liquid sculpey will work like resin if I put a pic or another item in the bottlecap and baked it.  Kinda like resin.  Now I want to try this, but not sure if it will work and I don't want to muck it up too bad either.  I'm sure the fire dept. has enough to do without me burning down our kitchen from one of my projects 

So, any ideas of this will work or if anyone has tried it yet?

I am obsessed with the almighty "nestlace" that we all admire and covet for our own.  I have attempted to make one if these pretties but I think I have failed a bit.  I have seached for a tutorial on these things here and cannot find one.  I would love to have a tute or some pics of one from the back and the side.  I just can't figure out some of the construction.  I must have bunches and I want to make them in colors, etc.  The egg-potential of several beads that I have depends on it          

My Daughter and I made these for her teacher, who is crazy about "Where the wild things are".  It is her fave book and also her theme for her second graders (my daughter is a student of hers).  Hope you like and sorry about the odd pics.  I have a interesting camera with a mind of its own.



Oh, and don't worry.  No books were harmed in the making of this creation.  But I can tell you, a three in one printer is not a bad thing to have!!

It makes you create cutey things    I made this on Sunday, not sure why.  I had a vision and a pile of scrap felt.  This is my lovely daughter modeling it for me.  I used ribbon and doubled it so it looked like a choker.  Not sure If I will wear it tho.  Let me know what you think.
