Don't give up on all suede! This certain kind just had a lot of give so I had to compensate for it! If you try something new start with a little project to see how it works. I say that I won't use it again but I probably will, and next time I will know that I need to allow for some stretching!

Thanks for the tips! (And I still say that the pillow looks like it was worth it)

Hahaha, I know exactly what you mean -- after a particularly daunting project, I'll swear something off altogether only to use it again a month later (and repeat the process, usually).

That's too bad to hear about the difficulty of sewing with suede  Undecided I'm a newbie to sewing and don't know these things and was really looking forward to working with the stuff.  Bummer.

You did a great job, though, it looks like it just came together perfectly and easily.
