1  batwing jacket 1980s pattern in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by rozzette on: August 12, 2009 07:45:08 AM

i found a pattern in my local op shop from the 80s, and i seemed really clever and easy. but it turned out wayy to big, so i added a colar, cuffs and lining, and wear it as a jacket, instead of a shirt.

The sleeves are hilarious, but soo comfortable!! the inside is spotty. im still yet to put buttons on the front :/ i think ill make it double breasted, so its more fitted around waist.

2  drape-e tiedyed jersey top in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by rozzette on: August 12, 2009 07:30:27 AM
My friend loved this kind of top in a store but they didnt have her size, so i made it for her bday Cheesy

its got a singlet base, then two sort of folds around each side. i used platted fabric for the straps.

i absolutely hate sewing knit fabrics, but after realising my machine has a stretch stitch setting, it became much easier. but the sides were a pain to get to sit right.

and the back of it.
thanks for looking Smiley

3  waisted Tulip Skirt houndstooth fabric ! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by rozzette on: April 19, 2009 07:32:51 AM
i made my own high waisted fitted skirt. im so proud of the pockets, my first successful pockets that actually can be used and are made properly ! i pretty much made up the pattern with help from another skirt.

(probably should iron the hem Sad )

the fabric was this cute small houndstooth in black and deep pinkish. for the lining i used a navy and white houndstooth.

the front pleats and pocket

its coming up to winter, i love black tights and im sick of wearing pants, i think im gonna make another one, but without the bottom hem and a wider waist band Cheesy
