Those pictures just made my day. My fav is actually the one where you are spanking your DH.

They would make hilarious engagement photos!

Thanks for posting the tutes dkany.
Not how I make mine, but they are great projects! I especially like the black widow project though!

I always love these when they come out on Craftster this time of year!
I love the personal touch you've added with the fangs and the tongue - makes it very snake-like!

That is a great project!  Shocked For someone who had no idea what they were doing, it turned out great!

They really are spiderlady! They really are. I find it so odd that people are deathly afraid of spiders - the majority of them are harmless. I guess it is one of those mysterious facets of our humanity..

I unfortunately cannot post a tutorial for various reasons that I cannot actually mention in a post (Craftster rules).  Embarrassed Sorry folks. It's just taken me quite a while to get these just right and I can't give all my secrets away. I swear I am not selfish or a big grinch. I've posted tutes before for other things.

Consider perhaps putting one on a pin back, that would look pretty pimp too  Grin
I've actually made a few on pin backs for some teachers! I've also made these:

I call them "Spiders and Cream"

I took one look at him (size of a mouse, I kid you not) and he took one of me, (considerably larger than any mouse.)  He stood on his back legs and I could have sworn he was screaming too! Then we both ran in opposite directions.
Ha! That is priceless!!

My guy is completely afraid of spiders... He doesn't mind the beaded ones, but he freaks right out whenever there is one around. This summer I found one on his back. Let me tell you, that was an experience! Seeing a grown man shriek and scream "Take it off! Take it off!" was quite funny.

really cool design - it'd be cute to have some non-traditional spider colors, too, like hot pink. but then, i'm a neon nerd Smiley

I have actually made one in hot pink before! Funny that you mention it! I've also made one that was all sky blue for someone who wanted a bridal gift for her friend.
